The Message of 2 Peter and Jude is unavailable, but you can change that!

Both writers aim to expose the false guides who lead young believers astray. They set before the churches the conditions for their survival, providing inspiring and practical guidance on Christian growth.

If Peter was talking about ‘the faith’, he would be saying something very odd here. He would be teaching that we need to add new doctrines to the faith, which is the false teachers’ mistake. He would also be contradicting what he has just said about already having been given ‘everything we need for life and godliness’ (1:3). He is, however, still talking about faith as he meant it in verse 1, the individual belief of the Christian. There is beautiful balance in what Peter writes,
